Michael's fathers side of the family had their first ever Harris Family reunion in Potosi, Texas. Its a small town Southeast of Abilene, where Michael's grandfather is buried. At the Reunion they had old pictures of Michael's grandmother Bertha Harris and his late Grandfather. I had never seen any young pictures of his grandfather, but after that weekend, I knew that Michael definitely favors his granddad's stature and even a few of his mannerisms. It was fun to get to know people had never meet and the biggest surprise was who Michael was related to. Tom and Rhesa Brewster are directors of our Bible Fellowship class at Prestonwood, and we have gotten to know them over the past year. When we pulled up to the tiny community center in Potosi, I saw Tom in the parking lot, but thought no way were close to the middle of no where, I can;t be Tom. But when we walked inside I saw Rhesa and her three kids. We figured out that Michael and Rhesa are cousins, and she even used to babysit and change is diaper. Such a small world!
