Stars Game

Outside of the American Airlines Center.

We were sitting so high up that we could almost reach up and touch the giant Chili's Pepper. At first Maddie was not thrilled about the floating pepper, but by the end, so kept cheering for it to come closer.

The school district was sponsoring a family day at the Stars game and we couldn't pass up the opportunity to take Madelyn to her first hockey game.

Fall at the Arboretum

That's a big Pumpkin House

Poor Grammie fell right after we took this picture into the edge of the sidewalk--sorry about that bruise, but we got a cool picture.

Little Gym Spooktacular

Working on her Gig'em

Walking on the big balance all by herself

"Cheese, take my picture"- Madelyn said!

Knocked over all the bottles the first throw.

Looks its the Maroon flash! Maddie in action doing somersaults down the giant slide.

The Little Gym had a Spooktacular party for all their kiddos that included fun obstacle events, carnival games, lots of candy and even a giant mountain slide. Madelyn went as an adorable ATM cheerleader and went went as fans. I wish we would have thought to get a family picture of all of us in ATM paraphernalia, but Madelyn was very concerned about moving onto the next event and trick or treating. But her favorite was the fishing game and doing somersaults down the giant slide. The amazing part of the evening was that they had door prizes and we WON one. We won a free birthday party at Little Gym. Did hear that? We actually WON something. You talk about the Lord providing-HE is amazing! With Michael in school this year and us living on my measly teacher's salary, this party is God send and to have it a favorite place is just icing on the cake! I hope you all can make it!

Fire Prevention Week

Madelyn's school had fire prevention week and as an extra special treat, Poppo sent her entire class firemen hats and special treat filled bags and stickers all the way from the San Antonio Fire Department. Ms. Chasity her teacher made it an extra special day, as they learned about calling 911, and stop, drop and rolling, learned several fun firemen songs and topped the week off with a visit from the Plano Fire Department. Madelyn even got to drive the firetruck that day. Oh and each classroom decorated a pumpkin and Madelyn's room had a firemen pumpkin, complete with its own hat. Thanks Poppo for making it an extra special week for Maddie!

Future Aggie Cheerleader

Grammie got Madelyn an adorable Aggie Cheer leading outfit so she can wear it to the high school football games. She has even managed to perfect her Gig'em thumbs up! Maddie has taken a keen interest in the high school cheerleaders and will stand at the fence at the games and mimic the girls cheering. I am so in for it when she gets older!

Murphee and Madelyn

I wish you could see the rest of the picture, the lady is holding a hairless rat and well you can see Madelyn's reaction.
Madelyn and I went to her sweet friend, Ella's second birthday party at Grisham Farms in McKinney. All the kids had a great time, especially during the exotic animal presentation. As you can see from the picture above, she wasn't found of the rat, but really enjoyed the Sugar Glider and the Albino Porcupine. And the best part of the day was feeding the Pot Belly pig! What a fun farm party! Thanks Ella!
